Clipboard, the
recently launched web clipping service with the Pinterest-like layout, is today debuting version 2.0, which brings a website redesign, several new features, and the debut of the
Clipboard iOS application. The new app allows users to create and share their clips from their phone, as well as browse through the public clips from others on the service. Although designed for saving snippets of web content from mobile Safari, the app favors visual imagery when browsing through users' shares. This almost makes it seem more like a photo-sharing service than an Evernote competitor - at least at first glance.
