iPhone: Fixing skin blemishes on portraits can be time consuming, but Beauty Box does an admirable job with just a few taps.
Once you install the app, it will ask you about your age and skin complexion to tweak its algorithms. From there, you can take a photo or import it from the camera roll. Tapping the magic wand icon brings up a number of presets to hide different skin issues, many of which do a surprisingly good job without making the photo look overly-edited.
When it comes time to share your finished portrait, you can send it to a number of social networks, but strangely enough, you can't export it to your camera roll. You can send the photo as an iMessage to yourself and save it from there, but it's not an ideal workaround. Still, if you want to repair some skin defects before posting a photo to Facebook, you'd be hard pressed to find a faster option than Beauty Box. The app is free on the App Store, and a $1.99 in-app purchase will unlock additional filters.
