Trust Attorney The candidate will be responsible to provide technical legal review of trust agreements, wills and other legal documents to determine acceptability from administrative and liability standpoint. Will provide assistance and serve as a resource to attorneys, Bank clients, potential Bank clients, Investment and Wealth Management, and other Bank personnel regarding legal issues affecting the creation and administration of trusts and estates, estate planning, wills, probate, estate, gift, ERISA and other related issues. Supervise or assist handling of decedents files; oversee handling of probate estates and interim trusts for deceased clients; provide wealth strategy planning for high net worth clients and prospects; assist in the development and review of the IWM. Will and Trust Forms Book and other resources, such as marketing and other materials provided to clients and attorneys. Perform other duties as assigned.The candidate should have preferably College degree. J.D. and Law license is required. 5+ years of law practice or trust dept experience is required. Experience in Trust, Estate and Financial Planning, Real Estate, Probate Administration, Tax, Charitable Planning, Retirement Planning, ERISA and related areas are required. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook is required. Must have strong attention to detail, the ability to work with clients and prospects of varied backgrounds and experiences. Should have the ability to provide input and guidance for development of policies and procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.Click here
